I won't be forced to breed children!

"It's never OK to be sexist"

No, it's never "OK to be sexist", but that's trivial: "sexism" is an idea that exists only to be condemned. I don't imagine myself a sexist. Nobody does.

But I'm going to be called a sexist, because I firmly believe that human behavior is largely hardcoded and sharply constrained by female sexual selection, the inherent sexual conflict of interest, and the evolutionary division of labor. Belief in a unisex society is utopian gibberish. Specifically, belief that the basic sexual natures and expressions of human males or females can be changed by social action, by legislation or lecturing, is utopian gibberish.

Condemning unchangeable, bred in the bone human traits as "sexism" merely adds avoidable misery to the unavoidable misery that comes with being alive. It isn't helping.

Comments

Sure, many human civilizations have done everything possible to ensure these things. But I've never known you to claim that women or men "can't" do certain things because of their limited brains, or any of the other Mars-Venus nonsense going around. Like "men never ask for directions and women can't read maps." Bah.
